We will do everything to make your tour a fun and relaxing educational experience.

To give you an example of a possible route for a complete visit we could start from area of San Lorenzo, the largest among the Florence leather markets, teeming with shops and stalls where local products are still sold and that surround the homonymous district where there are the Medici Chapels and the Basilica of San Lorenzo - the church built by the Medici family, of which you can visit the elegant cloister, designed by Brunelleschi, the architect author of the famous Florence Dome. During the morning you will visit the Accademia Gallery which, among its many treasures, collects the impressive Statue of David by Michelangelo and some other unfinished works by the same author as well as a collection of paintings and other medieval and Renaissance works.

You will then move on to Piazza del Duomo, where the impressive medieval Cathedral made of white and green marble embraces your gaze and is completed with the grandeur of Brunelleschi's Florence Dome, Giotto's Bell Tower and the Baptistery of San Giovanni with the Gates of Paradise.

Not far away you will find the large Piazza della Signoria, a large square overlooked by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio. Next to it in the direction of the Arno, the river that crosses Florence, you will visit the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museums of the world, which houses the most important collection of medieval and Renaissance art in Italy.

Walking along the Arno you will cross the Ponte Vecchio, famous for its jewellery shops. Crossing the Ponte Vecchio, you will reach the wonderful Palazzo Pitti, the former residence of the Medici family, lords of Florence.

The tour will conclude by returning in the direction of the Duomo in the elegant Piazza della Repubblica, not before having left a penny in the fountain of the Porcellino, near the Straw Market another nice small Florence leather market.

The places that are explored during the full day tour can include other sights in case you are particularly interested and the walking tour will be tailored on your preferences.
